About This Painting -
Still Life With Ketchup – Brooklyn
This 6" inch square wood panel painting was created for the group show, Beyond Ordinary Still Life at the Artists' House Gallery in Philadelphia and featured in the Broad Street Review show write-up. It is based on a photograph I took at the restaurant Sidecar, formerly on 5th Avenue in Brooklyn, but is typical of many restaurant and diner scenes, although the glass bottles are harder and harder to find these days! This is another painting that could be included in my Disappearing Brooklyn series.
